My name is James studying at Kyambogo University in Kampala, Uganda. I found out about To Help a Dream through my family.
Growing up in a creative environment, I’ve always had a dream of one day being able to put my baking skills into a business venture. I didn’t go to any pastry school but I’ve always grown with a passion of being in the kitchen making something and this is what inspired me to grow my baking skills . I had financial challenges and did not know how I’d ever live to my dream but I remained optimistic as always since we should always keep the light of our dreams burning.
Through this , today I have been able to have my own oven , my small baking station and I’ve also been able to progress with my business. Not only that , I’ve also won people’s hearts with my great products . After my studies, I plan to start a bigger bakery with my savings and this is all thanks to the charity To Help a Dream.
